THE COMPETITION - How it works:

1. To nominate yourself or one of your peers visit www.barshow.co.nz . Make sure you enter your name, email address and phone number in the ‘Bartender of the Year’ category. Nominations close 1 May, 2008.
2. Start honing those mixology skills
3. Full list of finalists will be published in the June/July issue of NZ Bartender magazine
4. Finalists will be required to make their own way to theAuckland BarShow to sit the written test which will be sat on day one of the show (5 August).
5. The Top 15 bartenders will move on to the ‘Mystery’ round (also held on 5 August).
6. The final ten will be shaking it up at the Auckland BarShow on the Mixology Stage on the second day (6 August). The winner will be announced at the New Zealand bar awards.
